dx Capture Terms of Service

Service terms for recording, upload, workspace media, controlled sharing, plan limits, advertising, prohibited use, and service operation.

Section 01

Platform services

  1. 1.1

dx Capture lets users record browser media, upload videos and screenshots, manage workspace assets, organize collections, and publish controlled share links.

  2. 1.2

dxAuth may be used to verify sign-in, but dx Capture creates and manages its own web and extension sessions.

Section 02

User content and license

  1. 2.1

Users keep ownership of content they upload, record, or share. Users grant doxanh the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, secure, and operate that content as part of dx Capture.

  2. 2.2

Users represent that they have the rights and permissions required to record, upload, process, and share their content.

Section 03

Recording obligations

  1. 3.1

Users must not record or share content unless they are allowed to do so. Users are responsible for required participant notice, consent, workplace approval, confidentiality obligations, platform rules, and applicable recording laws.

Section 04

Prohibited content and conduct

  1. 4.1

Users must not upload illegal, abusive, exploitative, or infringing content; record confidential, private, or sensitive information without authorization; publish malware, phishing, credential theft, or harmful technical content; evade access controls, rate limits, plan limits, or security controls; abuse upload, sharing, extension, or advertising systems; harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud others; or interfere with service operation.

Section 05

Share-link responsibility

  1. 5.1

Share modes are tools to help users control access. Public and unlisted links can be forwarded by recipients. Password and PIN protection adds an unlock step, but users should still avoid sharing content that would cause harm if disclosed.

Section 06

Plans, limits, and ads

  1. 6.1

dx Capture may enforce plan limits for duration, quota, upload size, retention, protected sharing, and advertising. Free or guest viewer pages may show house ads or approved third-party ads. Paid or admin plans may suppress ads according to product policy.

  2. 6.2

The current Free plan supports one-minute 720p recordings and 30-day media retention. The current Pro plan is USD 5 per month, supports three-minute 1080p recordings, and retains media while active; existing Pro media remains available for 90 days after expiry. Each account is limited to one active registered browser and its paired extension.

Section 07

Service changes and termination

  1. 7.1

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. We may perform maintenance and remove content when retention rules, security needs, abuse reports, or legal obligations require it.

  2. 7.2

Users may stop using dx Capture. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, security risk, non-payment, or legal reasons.

Section 08

Disclaimers and liability

  1. 8.1

dx Capture is provided as available. It is not a substitute for legal, compliance, security, archival, or records-management advice.

  2. 8.2

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, doxanh is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, or substitute services. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, doxanh's total liability for claims relating to dx Capture is limited to the amount paid for the service during the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if no paid amount applies. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Section 09

Governing law

  1. 9.1

These terms are governed by applicable law for the service operator and user relationship, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory local consumer, privacy, or business rights apply where they cannot legally be excluded.
